To take a screenshot on your Xperia device running on Ice Cream Sandwich press combination of Volume down + Power button for around 2-3 seconds. This is the second method which you can follow to take screenshot on Sony Xperia devices. This method will work mainly on Android Lollipop and Android KitKat running devices. Hold the Power button for around 2-3 seconds unless you see the Power menu on the screen of your device. Once you see the Power menu tap on Take screenshot option and the screenshot will be captured on your Sony Xperia device.

For devices running on android 2.3 and lower
