How To Take Screenshot On Galaxy Grand Duos
Key combination
The first method is simple and quite easy.
- Select the screen you want to take as screenshot.
- Press the power button and home button simultaneously.
- You can see screen getting flashed once and you can hear camera clicking sound.
- Go to your pictures folder and the captured screenshot is present there.
Palm Swipe Option
Galaxy grand supports motion gesture technology and with the help of that technology also you can take the screen shot.
- Go to “Settings” in apps and Enable the option “Motion”.
- Tap on Motion and Enable “Palm swipe to capture”.
- Now close settings and select the screen you want to capture.
- Swipe your palm from left to right or right to left according to your convenience.
- You can see screen getting flashed once and you can hear camera clicking sound.
- Go to your pictures folder and the automatically saved screenshot will be there.
Screenshot using apps
The third method is using the android apps that will enable you to take screenshots. In the android (Google play) store there are several apps available which will take screenshots according to your preference. Several apps like “Screen shot it”, “A Screen shot” etc. are quite popular and have several positive reviews in the play store. Most of the screenshot apps available are integrated to social network sites also, so you won’t find any difficulty in taking screen shots of your Facebook, twitter pages also.
Connect with PC
This method will help you to take screenshot of your mobile in PC. Download and install Samsung PC suite to your PC (It is free and anyone can easily download it from the Samsung site). Connect your phone to PC via USB. Navigate your mobile through the software and select the screen you want to capture. Using the screen capture tools like “snipping tool”, capture the screen. In this process, you can even capture some part of your screen.

I am unable to take screenshots by simultaneously pressing home and power button on my grand duos……..pls help
I just recently bought a grand duos and this tutorial helped me on taking a screenshot with it.
I am using galaxy grand too.
I would like to use the swipe to capture function.
Yet i cant the option “swipe to capture” as there are only 3 option for me, that is “smart alert”, “shake toupdate” & “turn over to mute”.
Cani know what it the reason and how can i going to use “swipe to capture” function?
