Unfortuantely, Samsung is notorious for making devices that can be rooted quickly. This is due to the developer’s use of unlocked bootloaders, which open up the opportunity for quick roots.
If you’ve tried it yourself before, then you may be familiar with a tool called CF-Auto-Root. It’s a root testing tool for Samsung, developed by Chainfire.
CF-Auto-Root is a highly used tool for rooting almost every Samsung Galaxy device that has been rooted. It only has 1 drawback though, which is that you need to use a computer. If you don’t have a PC, you will be unable to root the Samsung phone.
But that problem is now over. There are new methods available that allow you to root a Samsung Galaxy device, without the need for a computer. Those happen to be single click tools that you can quickly install on your phone, letting you do anything you want without a computer.
This method is called KingRoot.
This is the newest tool developed by “Kingxteam”. This tool uses no PC, and operates with a single click. You can install the tool as a regular app on your device. It also differs from other tools, since KingRoot works with a lot of Galaxy devices. Those include Samsung Galaxy(S2- S6) and also Samsung Galaxy (Note Devices 2-4).

The tool also works with other variations of Samsung phones. As an example, the Samsung Galaxy S6 variations of SM-G9208, G9200 work with the KingRoot tool, and they are fully supported. The tool can also root any device that (Android’s 2.3 Gingerbread), (4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich), (4.1 & 4.2 & 4.3 Jelly Bean), and (4.4 KitKat and 5.0 Lollipop).
To top it all off, this tool doesn’t trip KNOX. Thus, your warranty will remain for your phone even after rooting it.
How To Use KingRoot for Rooting Galaxy Devices…
- Download KingRoot’s 4.1 APK: KingRoot-4.1.0.245.apk.
- Add the file to your smartphone.
- Head to Settings > Securityand activate Unknown Sources.
- Install KingRoot APK file.
- Head to home screen and open the tool. It should check for access root. If it can’t find capability for rooting, a button will show up that you should tap.
- KingRoot will begin rooting the desired device. Wait till the app says 100% done.
- You don’t have to reboot the device.
To check if your device has a good root access, go to “Play Store” and download “Root Checker.”
